Thru-Hiking the Appalachian Trail Again: Taylor's Announcement

Watch the YouTube video announcement: https://youtu.be/VWd4wSrSyZg

Hi guys!

My name is Taylor, also known as "nahamsha" among the hiking community, and I am thrilled to announce that I will be thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail once again this year, 2023. I successfully thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2021, and have since then been eager to return and experience it all over again.

For those who may not know, the Appalachian Trail is a 2,198.4-mile-long hiking trail that stretches from Georgia to Maine, and I am determined to hike every single mile of it. I will be hiking big mile days, but will also take time to enjoy the trail towns along way to resupply my food and enjoy the little luxuries like taking a shower and sleeping in a real bed. If all goes well, I'm expecting this journey to take 4 months.

I have always said that I wanted to hike the Appalachian Trail twice, and in December of 2021, just six months after completing my first thru-hike, I made the final decision to do so and started mentally preparing for it. I will be doing daily vlogs, just like I did in 2021, and if you want to follow along my journey, you can subscribe to my channel and watch as I hike from Georgia to Maine.

In the coming videos, I will be sharing more about my specific plans for this thru-hike, the gear I will be taking, everything on my long to-do list before I hit the trails. If you're interested, be sure to check out my upcoming videos.

I am beyond excited for this journey and cannot wait to experience the beauty and challenges of the Appalachian Trail once again. Thank you for your support and I'll catch you in the next video!

Sincerely, Taylor (nahamsha)
